Hi,

I have been using mrVista since 2014 without any issues. However, I recently encountered a problem. At some point, I typed mrVista 3 to check something, and the system prompted me to add an inplane file, followed by the anatomy and segmentation files, even though I had already completed these steps without any problems before. It seemed like the system was attempting to grow the gray matter, but the program failed, and MATLAB terminated unexpectedly.

The MATLAB error report mentioned a problem with a Mex file (please see the details below). I’ve tried all the MATLAB versions I have (2011, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, and 2024) across Windows, Linux, and macOS, but I keep encountering the same issue. I also attempted to recompile the Mex file, but the problem persists. I used segmentations from FreeSurfer, ITK-SNAP, and ITKGray, but none of these worked.

I even uninstalled and reinstalled both MATLAB and Vistasoft, but nothing changed.

I urgently need to resolve this issue to complete the final part of my analysis and submit my PhD thesis. Could you please help me identify what I might be doing wrong? What are the requirements for running Vistasoft without issues?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
