Supermium 122.0.6261.85 changelog missed to mention the fix for the "Modern file picker dialog on Windows XPSP3" #245 A nice fix! Also I do find the memory consumption to be lower on my XPSP3 32bit host in Supermium122.0.6261.85 compared to the older "Supermium 121.0.6167.81". Overall I do perceive the new version to be better than the old. |

Hi! I installed Supermium 122.0.6261.85 on my Pentium 4 Medion XP 512Mb machine and it failed to run. The log said that it required a later operating system? |

I am not able to change the language in Windows XP. It is now a language that I don't know. I am sure that I have set the language. It shows up new language setting will be applied after restarting Supermium, but it did nothing after I restart Supermium. |

There is another XP computer won't start Supermium. In the debug.txt, it states "The specified program requires a later version.". [0308/174241.941:ERROR:crashpad_client_win.cc(476)] InitializeProcThreadAttributeList (size): 所指定的程式需要較新版的 Windows。 (0x47E) |

My XP machine only has 512Mb Ram and won't run it. I think they were normally 128Mb for new machines, my P4 Medion is a super duper gaming machine. So the RAM requirements may be a problem unless a way can be found to scale the memory usage. |

I want to thank you for providing a browser that supports Windows 7. Is there a way to support your Supermium to keep it going? This is outstanding! I now know that browsers can choose to support older versions of operating systems, they just choose not to. |

Hello, Is there any chance that a download of supermium_122__32_setup.exe from the url in the line below: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wjMQGsWaGoDXN-PPkGG0-Uc8T8O4auoA/view?usp=drive_web could have created a problem with data connections between Excel and ODBC files on my system? Background I have to run an XP machine for accounting so I have a 2 year old computer with a XP professional SP3 running fine, using MS office 2007 running fine. Excel connects to ODBC files (Read Only) that are produced by our accounting software. because chrome opens less and less over time I tried to install supermium on 6-22-2024. I downloaded the file but got a warning something like this: Google Drive has detected issues with your download This file is infected with a virus and may harm your computer. Only download this file if you understand the risks. This file is executable and may harm your computer. supermium_122_32_setup.exe (94M)" ...I had read that there were error messages with Supermium flagged as a virus so I was leery but downloaded it anyhow. I see I still have the progwrp_64.zip file in my C:\REYCLER\ directory so I think I may have tried to run it and then deleted it. So everything seemed fine with my computer but when running a refresh in Excel a day later Excel crashes with "Microsoft Office Excel has encounted a problem and needs to close..." This is true in every excel file. We also have an install of crystal reports which connects to the same ODBC files and they wont run either, crash when refreshing. I noticed that the "Get External Data" group of buttons in the ribbon on Excel 2007 are greyed out. these buttons include "From Access, From Web, From Text, From Other Sources, Existing Connections" So it makes me think that, even though Excel doesn't crash until pressing the Refresh button, it knows when the spreadsheet is open (which shows all the data of the last refresh), that it is not connecting to the external data that it is pointing to. That data is in a folder under My Documents named My Data Sources. The files within that directory have a .odc extension. So I am wondering two things. One is could this have been caused from a virus when ignoring a warning about downloading the zipfile, and/or Two is this possibly something that happened to a registry entry or something because the name of the file I downloaded had the _64 in the name and I am wondering if I downloaded a program meant for a 64 bit XP and mine is a 32. I see no other problems. Any help would be appreciated. I'm in a bind not being able to link to these ODBC data tables. |

Here are the following changes in this release:
-Renderer stabilization on Windows 7
-A new XP-compatible installer. The installer can optionally create shortcuts and install the Noto Emoji font for emojis to appear on
older operating systems
-Change in base of chrome.dll on 32 bit Windows to ensure reduced memory usage
-Stabilization of tasks such as 8K video viewing and large downloads from MEGA in 64 bit Supermium
-Improvements in GDI rendering on web pages
-Native tooltips are restored (optional on Windows 8 and above, using --legacy-tooltips-win). This will eliminate issues with the tooltips being hidden behind the window
-Several new flags from ungoogled-chromium:
--max-connections-per-host
--show-avatar-button
--popups-to-tabs
--disable-search-engine-collection
--custom-ntp is updated to feature the bookmark bar by default. The flag --bookmark-bar-ntp can toggle this functionality if the user wishes for it to be disabled.
