Images & Files Manager QoL

A central issue to track issues & quality of life improvements for the images & files manager.

• The upload section in the images & files interface is inferior to the mass upload tool, but the mass upload tool can only be access while anywhere else in the WA interface. This is kind of not intuitive.
  • The upload section in the images & files manager interface says that it only accepts a single file at a time, but can actually manage two at a time. When adding over two, it looks like they are all uploading, but they are not.
  • The upload section does not respect selected galleries.
• Images without a world are hard to track down unless you know their name and search for them. There should be a folder for account images without a world (profile pictures, hero character images)
• Map images should be more clearly marked as such. Either add them into a special gallery or have some kind of icon that they are used as map image and potentially a link to that map.
• Add recent images filter per world
• Add favorite images filter per world
• Add filters for missing credits fields
• Advanced edit only adds the options to replace the image, change the link URL and edit subscriber groups. These three options should be just added to the image sidebar. By making the description field shorter would not even make it a bigger form.
  • Then advanced edit can just be removed. The ability to direct link the image selected in the images & files folder should be added.
  • The editing form on the side should scroll with the screen as you scroll down as it makes editing with many images a lot easier.
• The search bar should respect the currently selected world on the sidebar. There is absolutely no reason for it to search the entire account.
• Ability to add an image to more than one world.
• Ability to create folders for galleries.
• Ability to fill the title field of the image with a separate value than the image title. When using as a tooltip it would be useful to make it more descriptive than just the title, which has other purposes.
