Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
As a support agent, I would like to easily know if a cache file is the desktop or mobile file, and if it was cached by the Preload.

Describe the solution you'd like
Add the information to the caching footprint:

This website is like a Rocket, isn't it? Performance optimized by WP Rocket. Learn more: https://wp-rocket.me/ - Debug: mobile-cached@1732718728 by Preload

Or

This website is like a Rocket, isn't it? Performance optimized by WP Rocket. Learn more: https://wp-rocket.me/ - Debug: desktop-cached@1732718728 by Preload

Alternatives from product

  • Add the information to the meta tag. That will help to measure our preload coverage.
  • Encoded in the caching footprint too, as m/p@######## with the first letter the device, the second one the visit medium.

A third option is to add it to the generator tag and add an option to the inspector to present the information in a meaningful way without having to check the source code.
