When a unit is built in one of your cities, you have a clickable notification about it, for example "Warrior has been built in Persepolis" (insert other city name and unit name as needed).
Currently, when you click/tap on the notification, the city that produced the unit is selected. I think that it would be more logical if the built unit was selected.
Why:
There are 2 possible variants:
the unit was the last item in the construction queue of the city;
the unit was not the last item
In the first case you will be taken to the city by clicking on the big "Construction" button above the notifications.
In the second case you don't need to go to the city because it's already decided what it should do next.
So in either case you don't need to select the city. Why then did you click on the notification? Obviously, to give orders to the newly-built unit.
Of course, it could be said that it's not long to select a unit after you have been taken to the city that has built it. However, it's still at least 1 extra click for no reason. Also, if the new unit is within the city, then it's extra 2 clicks: first you need to click on the city name, and only then you can click on the unit inside it. And if the unit was placed outside the city (because there already is a unit stationed inside) and there are several other units stationed on the tiles adjacent to the city, then you don't know which of them is newly-built.

Desired Solution
Clicking on the notifications selects the new unit, not the city that has built it.
Alternative Approaches
An option in Gameplay section to choose which behavior you prefer: selecting the city or the unit when you click on the "$unit has been built in $city" notification.
