Argument Annotated Essays Corpus (AAEC) (version 2.0) | ||

The corpus contains 402 persuasive essays annotated with fine-grained argumentation structures at the micro-level. The folder contains the following files: | ||
|
||
1. guideline.pdf: the annotation guidelines used in this study | ||
|
||
2. prompts.csv: contains the prompts of each essay | ||
|
||
3. train-test-split.csv: contains the train-test-splitting of each essay | ||
|
||
4. brat-project-final.zip: the brat-project including the essays and annotations | ||
|
||

For annotating the data, we used the brat annotation tool (version 1.3 "Crunchy Frog"), | ||
which can be downloaded from http://brat.nlplab.org | ||

For exploring the annotation using brat, copy the content of the brat-project-final.zip file to | ||
