OpinML Lawyers

There are two separate phenomena that might be described as OpinML Lawyering.

One is when the rules of the community become so complex that newcomers struggle to participate. Lawyers, in this case, would be the pedants who enforce the rules.

The other case will be if the WarFlagger community comes to be seen as an important arbiter of truth. Those with money will want to hire experienced advocates to represent their viewpoint in the community. The community should decide if these advocates should be expected to disclose when they are representing a third party for pay.
