The design of CalgaryToSpace's satellite, FrontierSat (aka CTS-SAT-1), will be documented in this wiki.

CTS-SAT-1 is CalgaryToSpace's first satellite: a loaf-of-bread-sized 3U satellite. It is a tech demonstration/research satellite, which is home to the Mini Plasma Imager (MPI) and Deployable Composite Latice Boom (DCLB) experiments, both developed by researchers at the University of Calgary.
The satellite has the following subsystems:
- Onboard Computer (OBC)
- Electrical Power System (EPS)
- Attitude Determination and Control System
- GPS
- Communications
- Frame
- Camera
- Deployable Composite Lattice Boom
- Mini Plasma Imager (MPI)
