Main changes since RC3 include:

• improved docker deployment for local demonstration and test.
• improved language choice when editing records metadata.

The main features available in B2SHARE2 RC4 are:

• based on Invenio v3
• user login using the staging B2ACCESS server
• records lifecycle: creation and editing of drafts, publishing them
• fast record search
• PID for each public record and for files
• simple authorisation system: the record owners can edit/publish records; the published records' metadata is publicly available; record files are readable only if the record is published and marked as open access.
• support for custom metadata templates for each community
• user-friendly license selector UI control
• OAI-PMH support with DC and MarcXML metadata formats
• HTTP API for creating, editing and publishing records

Notably missing features compared to v1 (coming in the next RCs):

• comments and reviews for datasets
• 'report abuse' and 'request access to private record' functions
• embargo date is currently ignored

Work in progress features (to be released in the following RCs):

• DOIs for published records
• user interface and HTTP APIs for managing user communities and their metadata
• file download statistics
• community administrators and community member roles for finer grained access control
• specialised UI controls for editing records: scientific disciplines, language selection
• UI and HTTP API for navigating record versions
• easy local installations (with Docker)
