IHE SDPi Supplement

The IHE SDPi Supplement defines four profiles as extensions of the IHE Devices (DEV) Technical Framework (TF):

1. SDPi-P for Plug-and-trust Interoperability device-to-device across a Web Services infrastructure

2. SDPi-R for Reporting content from devices, including physiological and therapeutic medical data

3. SDPi-A for Alerting support, notifying clinicians and other personally of advisories that require attention

4. SDPi-xC for External Control of devices which provide device-specific services (such as triggering a blood pressure reading)
