Why is it interesting?

Since the project is fully open source it can serve as a great reference client implementation for other platforms to learn from. Also based on github issues https://github.com/M3-org/avatar-interop/issues/1 it looks like the team is actively working on refactoring and improving parts of the animation system.

Why is it interesting?

HEAT is building a NFT marketplace for composable animation files. It's an interesting collective for testing animation and retargeting pipelines with. The builders have experience across Unity and Unreal engine and mocap suits. We're already testing with Cryptovoxels.

Why is it interesting?

Mixamo is used by everyone for rigging and animating humanoid characters. It's one of the most common armatures in terms of bones, and is free to use.
