This will prevent the Fallout 4 update on the 25th of April from breaking the list and your mods.

Steam, by default, automatically keeps your game up to date with the latest patches. This is normally fine; However, for a modded game, this can be a problem, as updates can bring with them unwanted hurdles for modding, as seen often with Skyrim updates, such as new content that needs to be patched against or executable updates that need the script extender to be updated for, or the worst case: recompiling that breaks many or even all .dll-based mods. You can do this for any game.
This will prevent Steam from automatically installing the Fallout 4 update that will release on the 25th of April. This update, atleast for a short time, will break modding support considerably. Blocking this update might not be necessary in the future if it gains wide support.

In your Steam Library, right click on Fallout 4, and click on Properties in the resulting context menu. In the resulting new window, click on the drop-down at the top of the right pane underneath Automatic Updates. Set it to
Only update this game when I launch it
. Since MO2 bypasses the Steam "play" button, this means Fallout 4 will never automatically update so long as you launch through MO2.
