Community Os Update Service (Cosu)

Description

Cosu’s purpose is to alert the Sailfish OS Updater (Ui) about new updates. For deeper information on how this is achieved please read read Architecture of Cosu.

Requirements

• A shared repository for Cosu to search through to find the updates. Also called a aggregate repository.
• One package to be tagged according to the versionPackageSeparator with the current supported Sailfish Os Version.
• Configuration to tell the Service in which repository the osUpdatePackage is contained in.
• Any configuration necessary to configure Cosu where the device differs from the default configuration.
