This release contains the latest version of binary firmware required to program the A2N20V2 Multicard. Please see the README.pdf contained below for more detailed release notes and detailed instructions for upgrading firmware.

There are five (5) variants of the firmware .fs files currently available for the A2FPGA:

a2n20v2-12-14-2024-DEFAULT.fs ---> HD Video, SSC Slot 2, Mockingboard Slot 4, SuperSprite Slot 7

a2n20v2-12-14-2024-MB4.fs ---> HD Video, Mockingboard Slot 4 - No Other Features

a2n20v2-12-14-2024-SSC2-MB4.fs ---> HD Video, SSC Slot 2, Mockingboard Slot 4 - No Other Features

a2n20v2-12-14-2024-SSC2.fs ---> HD Video, SSC Slot 2 - No Other Features

a2n20v2-12-14-2024-VIDEO-ONLY.fs ---> HD Video Only, No Other Features

FIXES:

1. This release fully updates the Mockingboard implementation for 100% compatibility with mbaudit 1.52-1.55 (https://github.com/tomcw/mb-audit). A2FPGA now successfully passes ALL mbaudit tests.

2. The Mockingboard implementation no longer incorrectly identifies the presence of a speech chip. Total Replay now properly identifies the correct configuration of the Mockingboard at startup.

A2N20V2-FIRMWARE-08-17-2024

This release contains the latest version of binary firmware required to program the A2N20V2 Multicard. There are three (3) variants of the firmware .fs files currently available:

- DEFAULT - Includes all features: Apple ][, ][+, //e, and IIgs HD Video, Mockingboard in Slot 4, Synetix SuperSprite in Slot 7

- NOSPRITE7 - Same as above but removes the SuperSprite support thus freeing slot 7 for other uses

- VIDEO-ONLY - Apple ][, ][+, //e, and IIgs HD Video with NO other features
