Ola-Trip-Data-Analysis-Dashboard using Powerbi Powerbi

I am sharing ola Trip Dataset - A Data Analysis Project performed on Powerbi in my journey into Data Science.

About Project👨‍💻

• The main objective is to build a single page dashboard with key metrics, insights and visualizations on company Revenue and details of service utilization.
• Data cleaning is performed using Excel

• Developed a Powerbi Dashboard to perform analysis, producing quantitative visualization in Powerbi to determine the company revenue , employee performance and what action should be taken to improve the growth of the company.

Steps Involved:

Step 1: Download file from Kaggle Dataset

Step 2: Cleaned Data using Excel

Step 3: Download Powerbi Desktop to perform Data Analysis

Step 4: Connect Powerbi with Excel database

Step 5: Save the file as (.pbix)

step 6: Publish the dashboard into powerbi cloud

Problem Statements

  • Q1. Revenue breakdown by cities.

  • Q2. Revenue brekdown by months.

  • Q3. Which category of Trips are mostly booked

  • Q4. Which purpose of Trips are mostly booked

  • Q5. Total revenue of the company

Approach - Project Planning & Aims Grid

1. Purpose: What? Why? What do we want to achieve?

Customers engagement with the OLA platform, and identify key areas of improvement.

2. End Result: What do we want to achieve?

Results and certain insights from the OLA trip Dashboard can determine the revenue of the company and what action can be undertaken to improve the company's growth and deliver its customers best travelling experience.

3. Success Criteria: What will be our success criteria?

  • CEO can gain insights for better decision making and further performance improvement
  • Key metrics, category and monthly wise and periodic distribution of customers can help to improve the employees performance.
