Compatibility

This release is ONLY compatible with Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus (version 1) printers and their clones. Version 2 (aka Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus Mark II) will be supported in a future release.

Installation notes

• You have to upgrade both the Mainboard firmware and the LCD.
• Use ADVi3pp-Mainboard-3.0.2.hex if you do not have a BLTouch sensor.
• Use ADVi3pp-BLTouch-Mainboard-3.0.2.hex if you have a BLTouch sensor.
• An up to date User Manual is available. It is also available as a PDF file on this page

Bug fixes

• #126 - ABL stops at random heights with same g-code
• #132 - Bug: cannot set sensor/nozzle height lower than -2 mm bug
• #133 - The default steps (X, Y, Z and probably E) are wrong
• #136 - When a setting is wrong (such as jerk equals to 0), reset it to the default
• #148 - (re-release) The LCD version number was wrong (3.0.1 instead of 3.0.2)

Known issues

• The LCD part displays a version number of 3.0.1: I forget to increment the version number when building this part. This is fixed in the re-release.

• Some versions of Cura under Windows are broken and are not able to flash firmwares. Version 3.3.x are known to have this problem. Version 3.2.1 is working.
