Java version 1.8 or higher
Gradle version 7 or higher https://gradle.org/install
Docker Compose version 2 or higher https://docs.docker.com/compose/install
To avoid issues with overloaded wifi, you can clone this repo and from the kafka-workshop/part2 directory run the following command:
docker compose up -d
After that has completed run
docker compose down
Now you will have all the bits downloaded that you will need for the exercises during the pre-compiler.
