Supervised Learning

This is a Machine Learning project in OMSCS program. The goal was to compare 5 supervised algorithms on two time-series medical datasets. The five algorithms included, decision trees, boosting, k nearest neighbor, support vector machines, and nueral networks. The full anaylsis can be viewed under the reports directory.

I added my own personal goals to learning git pre-commit hooks and the cookiecutter-data-science repo.

Env installation

First, install python3.8 and conda. Then create the conda environment using the environment.yml The source code can be downloaded from https://github.com/gdevos010/ml_supervised_learning

Run

to create the datasets, download the EEG and MIT-HIB dataset from the links provided under data/raw. run_all.py under in the report dir will train all the models, create all visualization and tables used in the report
