HKU STEM Data Science Lab for SARS-CoV2 bioinformatics

A jupyter notebook to look at coronavirus species and SARS-CoV2 spike proteins.

Designed to be run on Google Colab.

1. Visit Colab (https://colab.research.google.com) and log in.
2. Import notebook via GitHub (https://github.com/jasonwong-lab/HKU_STEM)

The notebook includes the following steps:

1. Set working directory
2. Package installation and downloads for workshop
3. Whole genome alignment of coronaviruses
4. Spike protein sequence analysis
