Hi there 👋 I'm Hojin Jang!

  • I mostly code backend stuff and data-related logic for projects that I work on.
  • Has web dev experience Python and Java (mainly Python). Experienced with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • AWS Certified Developer Associate.
  • I'm currently:
    • Working as a python scripter for a company specialized in data processing for AI.
    • Hands-on experience with complex bounding box, polygon, point cloud data in JSON with Python.
  • Noteworhy Things:
    • problem-solving is where I upload my algo code
    • sejong-reservation is a group capstone project implementing a meeting room reservation system.
      • My role was mostly backend side, working on developing the core logic for reservation service.
      • Also helped with configuring Docker conatiners for our microservice-first approach.
    • Like to try things I don't know by hand. Some of my public repos are here
    • Daily Ubuntu user!
      • Also have a homelab for my local network and backup vault. My dotfiles are here.
