Rough Agenda

Notes

  • Jam v0.1.4 release! 🎉
  • Biggest things: spend fidelity bond (#556), settings subsections (#573), performance improvements (#566)
  • User feedback: Fidelity Bonds: what are they?
  • Some users locked all their funds in a FB
  • Users don't understand that a FB funds won't participate in collaborative transactions
  • Edi: See Figma designs. Problem: people are locking up everything because they have 1 big UTXO in the beginning.
  • Will we implement Edi's FB redesign? Answer: dev resources are scarce currently; if someone is motivated, yes. So: any volunteers? 😅
  • Feature requests: transaction history (waiting on API changes), send to multiple, import seeds
  • Next version(s): Better coin control (quick freeze/unfreeze), "cooking pot" visuals, success screen for Earn,
  • Blocked by API: tx history, import seeds
  • JoinMarket release timeline: any day now! 😅
  • Open PRs: 591, 584, 586
  • Demo by TBK: quick freeze/unfreeze

Tobo says:Would it be possible to do a final check on the used address for the sweep before actually proposing a CJ and broadcasting it? 

For example:
Is this address already used? 
If yes, pause sweep, prompt user for new address and  then continue. 
Tobo says:Had a stupid edgecase where I was mixing on Sparrow and scheduled a sweep on jam and got an address reuse. Both mixes where to the same coldstorage account.
