Hi @luissancar I'm Daniel from komoot. Some time ago we switched our BLEConnect documentation to a different place. It's now linked on our website instead of github. Therefore we've archived our original BLEConnect repository on github. Your fork is still available on github and people might end up finding the outdated documentation which might confuse them. If possible I'd ask you to accept my change here so people will be able to find the most up-to-date documentation easier. If you don't need the repository anymore you might also want to consider archiving it. That could help us and people who wanna work with the interface. Best regards, Daniel

Hi @danielgard as a good "github traveller" I always search here before other places, and also I always watch pull request and open issues of a repo. This time I found this message and reading it after watching the repo I see the documentation on the komoot website but I don't find the part of "simulation". I have an iOS device and I want to prototype a low cost navigatior for my bike, how can I test it?

Hi @sndrgb

The documentation on the komoot website is the place to go now.
We've had simulation apps in the beginning but we have not been able to maintain those over time.
The BLE interface was meant to be of public usage in the beginning but it turned out to be very complicated to have a stable BLE interface that can be used by anyone. So we decided to use it for partners.
For your pet project you can still use the BLE interface. In the komoot app you can just select e.g. "HAC Cycling Computer" and you should be able to connect to the service and receive the notifications on your side by following the public documentation linked above.
If things are becoming more serious and you wanna use it in a real product please get in contact with us via the link on the website and we can add you as partner to the list of devices in the app. We keep in touch with our partners and make sure we don't break anything on their side when we make changes on our side of the interface.
I hope that helps.
