Welcome to the SpecDB wiki!

The information here is for developers hoping to contribute to SpecDB and people interested in adding parts. Please note that even adding parts takes some technical skill, unfortunately. It's not as simple as just typing in values to a nice gui.

Head to the getting started page first to learn how to setup a development environment for SpecDB, then head to the page describing the spec file format to learn how that works, then head to the page documenting the automated part creation tools which will make adding parts much easier that manually editing the yaml files. Once you've added some parts or made changes to the code, make sure that whatever you've done meets the contribution guidelines, then submit a pull request and see your changes made live on SpecDB!
