This repository contains the code of the final project of the Embedded Systems Programming course at the master degree in Computer Engineering of the University of Padua, Italy, academic year 2016-2017.
The aim of the project was the design and the implementation of an android camera app that captures a scene at different exposures, then blends the captured images into a single HDR picture, and finally applies tone mapping to obtain an LDR image for conventional displays. If the device does not support the manual change of the exposure, the app only allows to load images from the gallery and then runs the HDR and tonemapping algrithms.
Main settings:
- Select the number of images (3, 5 or 7)
- Select the exposure step (± 1/3, ± 2/3 or ± 1)
- Select the HDR algorithm (Debevec/Malik or Robertson)
- Select the tonemapping algorithm (Drago, Durand, Mantiuk or Reinhard)
- Select if perform the alignment of images with MTB algorithm
In the repository is not contained the OpenCV Android SDK. It must be set manually.
