Why is there no MSI installer, AppImage, Snap package, Deb package, *Package for my distro* ?

• The general distribution strategy was outlined in Distribution strategy #257 already.

For now we limited the available options to 1 solution per operating system, that covers as many users as possible.
There are plans to follow up and provide more "generic packages" such as a Windows MSI installer, AppImage and a Snap package.
However since our resources are limited, we do not plan to provide them any time soon and neither custom packages for distributions at this time. We want to focus our efforts on the actual product development, instead of learning how to create packages for various Linux distributions.
