🍦 ruCream is a light mode, minimalistic, creamy color theme for vscode and is heavily inspired by the Ayu color themes. The base template of ruCream is a modification of the Ayu Light theme's color choices while maintaining it's key concepts.

Designed as a light and airy theme, inspired by the iconic Russian cream dessert color palette, consisting of reds, creams, whites, and the signature glass or white bowl, which gives a sleek, minimalistic, and even delicious feeling when writing. We'd suggest using the Azeret Mono font with a size of 11px, as shown in our screenshots below, for a more delicious experience.

Installation

• VSIX (Recommended):

  • Download the vsix
  • In VS Code, select Install from VSIX... in the extension context menu
  • Select the downloaded rucream-1.0.0.vsix
  • Open File > Preferences > Color Themes and pick the ruCream theme.
  • Enjoy the theme!

• MANUAL:

  • Download latest release
  • Move downloaded folder into user/.vscode/extensions
  • Open File > Preferences > Color Themes and pick the ruCream theme.
  • Enjoy the theme!
  • If that doesn't work you can try to restart vscode and also disable and then re-enable all extensions.
  • If both these don't work, follow the steps above to install from the vsix
