Jonathan Hogg is an audiovisual artist with a particular interest in mesmerising light and movement. They design and develop interactive artworks and perform live visuals.

Their background is in electronic and software engineering, including 6 years spent in computing science research into declarative languages. The tools are as important as the outcome in their process and they create expansive custom platforms to support their artistic work – including the open source visuals language Flitter.

Jonathan also tutors arts students in technology at University of the Arts London and mentors young people for charity Arts Emergency. They have extensive commercial experience as a systems architect, senior developer and team leader, and particular experience in mentoring new developers.
