##Setup the SDN-starter VM You have to install vagrant before running following commands

git clone https://github.com/usi-systems/sdn-course-vm.git
cd sdn-course-vm
vagrant up

##Connect to the VM Run vagrant ssh at the top level directory

##Other vagrant commands

  • restart vagrant reload
  • shutdown vagrant halt

####Install new package while the VM is up

vagrant provision

####Install new package while the VM is off

  • vagrant up --provision or vagrant reload --provision

Install BMV2

If you already ran vagrant up before, please do:

vagrant provision --provision-with shell

Then, add virtual interfaces for Bmv2 switch:

sudo /vagrant/veth_setup.sh
