"maven-surefire-plugin" and "maven-antrun-plugin" are used in the subsystem archetype. At least the first one was not updated by dependabot, and I hope this is fixed by adding dummy plugin declarations to the root pom.xml.
I did not update the surefire version as part of this pull request to test whether dependabot will handle this.
