- Thank you everyone for attending
- The purpose of this meeting is to provide a regular forum for discussing current activities and topics around Grails framework development
- Not open to public without an invite in order to keep the group small enough for discussion
- Will record and publish meeting notes for public review

- Wrapping up Grails 4.1.0.M2
- This includes other modules besdies Grails Core like GORM
- Also includes the Embedded MongoDB Plugin
- Will review the Vue.js profile
- After Grails 4.1.0.M2, focus will switch to Grails 4.0.5

- Reviewing plugins, PRs, and issues to see if they are still relevant
- Working on Spring Security Core
- It would be nice to get this updated to the latest Spring Security version
- Database Migration Plugin issue and PR reviews
David
- Continued work and attention on Asset Pipeline
- Currently working on Grails GSP
- Also reviewing issues and PRs for relevance
- Stated that Grails 4.0.4 does not work with Windows. Grails 4.0.5 release is required to fix Windows support
- Believes the fix has already been made and just requires a release
- Updates to Spring Loaded with feedback and assistance from Andy (the original maintainer)
James
- Recently released Micronaut 2.0 which included updates for Groovy 3
- Will be able to be used with Grails 4.1
- Group agreed that most weeks Thursday at 8a CT is a good time to meet
- Not everyone is expected to attend every discussion
- Time will be adjusted as needed
- Group agreed that the meeting should be invite only with notes published for public review
- A mechanism should be put in place to provide people a way to request an invite

- Starting in October, OCI will have a quarterly Groovy / Grails / Micronaut town hall meeting
- David has been asked to join for the first episode in October
- Town Hall is one example of how OCI is providing more visibility to and increasing communication channels with the community on current activities within 2GM.
- Includes who all is actively involved like David and Bobby
