As usual, Follow Up From Each Member, Discussion and Task Assignment

Byeongjee Kang: Other paper not Vetomint is due next week, so done peer review and Vetomint seminar preparation.

  • Prepare for Thursday seminar, work on the other paper due 9/1, do some high level interface discussions

Jaehu Yeom: Done ABCI seminar and implementing Vetomint crate. Expecting to be done at the lastest 9/2.

  • Vetomint implementation and write test codes with Yoonsuh.
  • Junha requested PR until 8/28.

Seongjae Kwak: Applied comments for PR review. Wrote unit test codes for Broadcast feature and started implementing Broadcast feature.

  • Implement Broadcast feature until 8/26 and implement rest of the interfaces on 8/27~28.

Changhun Oh: Done feature implementation and unit tests. Couldn't push codes for integration tests because of broken laptop. To recap, transaction feature in rocksDB is not used for implementing Checkpoint feature.

Yoonsuh Park: Done some calculation on Vetomint and found out that when byzantine exists 1/6 and unanimous decision hasn't been made, cannot reach consensus.

  • Vetomint implementation and write test codes with Jaehu.

Taehoon Kim: Done fixing OneshotMerkleTree, but found out vulnerability of hashing pair of duplicated hash value for only child node; this is how Bitcoin implemented Merkle tree.

  • Research more how Bitcoin handles the issue and maybe research for other projects such as Cosmos for solutions.
  • Review PRs for Simperby crate to be updated.
