Project Time Line
Week 1: We downloaded the original source code of DC++ and tried to understand it.
Week 2: To avail the facility of using internet, dealing with clients and servers, we will learn about JAVA SOCKET PROGRAMMING. We’ll learn by looking at the tutorials and practicing it.
Week 3: After understanding the code(week 1) and the learning the things that can be done feasibly in Java Socket Programming, we will analyse the various features that can be efficiently done in an android device like phone.
Week 4: We will design the structure of the code(thoroughly identifying various functions,classes etc. needed) and begin coding it.
Week 5: We will take the coding done in previous week forward and figure out the in-depth issues like how to use Wi-Fi in the app, how to enable file sharing etc.
Week 6: Testing of the code and dealing with the issues in case they arise.
