Goals/Agenda

• Discussing the release and internal review strategy of the new ACCESS-Hive.
• Discussing the new icons needed for the new Hive page.

Discussion Notes

• Finalise the strategy for the internal review of the hive by the end of July.
• This would enable the team to measure how close we are to the legacy release goal and enabling hive to get the first major round of feedback from the internal team.
• Decide upon the final home page content and what sub-sections should be included (for ex. policies, license etc.).
• Natalia is currently looking into the proper acknowledgement and image references techniques for the hive.
• Overall, might just remove any dead links from the hive page before the release.
• Decide by the end of July, of which sections on the hive should be included in the coming soft-release and which ones could perhaps be postponed.
• Some of the high-priority items for the release - users should be able to find the docs related to getting started with a model, and with clear instructions of how to get help from the hive page.
• If there is something that is not complete yet, might just refrain from including it in the final release.
• Improve the community forum button appearance and UI for it to be more visible to the users.
• Also, the working groups information should be clear enough for the user to find and join. Find a place for the working groups information on the hive.
• Make it clear on the hive page of how to get help. Think about how to utilise the user support model if we are planning to advertise that model.
• Decided to remove the support icons entirely from the hive page, might just include them if needed in the future.
• For the community resources tab, this could possibly be renamed to the resources tab and have a subsection community inside.
• Natalia is currently working with the designer for designing the new icons for the hive page (for instance, a different icon for the access-hive forum and website).

• Add all of the above action items as issues on zenhub (if they are not already) :)
